IV ☄ Voice / Action

With everything that was going on, I forgot to ask...Is it normal for all of the leaves to fall off the trees, and change color? I've found leaves that are so many colors! It's sorta weird, but it's really pretty... Oh!! And the cold, all of my clothes aren't made for the cold...I'm used to it being desert hot. So can someone tell me what kinds of warm clothes to wear, that doesn't make me look silly? Back home I pretty much had my clothes ready to wear, or found clothes that fit. But I did try to find warm clothes...but I think I need a lot of help here...

Uhm...I think I should ask a more normal question too...are there normal questions here..? Well...how many people here grew up without parents? And for the people who did...no, that's a mean question. N-nevermind!!

[Once Raenef had deemed it safe to go outside again, he has found himself collecting the pretty colored leaves, and has started to make a very pretty colored ring of leaves near the middle of town like any kid would that's never experienced Fall in their lives, as he tries to ignore the annoying cold by keeping himself busy.  Though once he has managed to make the colorful leaf circle, instead of going inside to get warm like a normal person, anyone can find him doing something that looks extremely dangerous...and that would be the fact that he is not only holding a fairly large fireball in his hands (Bigger than his head at least), but he's also created a barrier around himself to keep any wind away from him, and the fire that could blow right into his face]

It's normal in some places. Some parts of the world have climates and temperatures that are only hot, or only cold. However, in some, there are four different seasons. The one with the colorful leaves is Autumn.

Scarves and gloves! And a jacket, obviously.

...When leaves appear green, it is because they contain chlorophyll. There is a significant amount of chlorophyll in an active leaf that the 'green' overwhelms all other pigment colors. Light regulates chlorophyll production, so as daylight decreases, less chlorophyll is produced. The decomposition rate of chlorophyll remains constant, so the green color fades from the leaves.
Sugar concentrations cause increased production of anthocyanin pigments. Leaves containing primarily anthocyanins will appear red. Carotenoids are another class of pigments found in some leaves. Carotenoid production is not dependent on light, so levels are not diminished by shortened days. Carotenoids can be orange, yellow, or red, but most of these pigments found in leaves are yellow. Leaves with an increased amount of both anthocyanins and carotenoids will appear orange.

Leaves with carotenoids but little or no anthocyanin will appear yellow. In the absence of these pigments, other plant chemicals also can affect leaf color.
Temperature affects the rate of chemical reactions, including those in leaves, so it plays a part in leaf color. However, it is mainly light levels that are responsible for fall foliage colors.

My apologies...
I am Spock... I am from the planet Vulcan, a desert planet.... I understand what you say, the temperature here for my personal physiology is less than satisfactory. I have yet to acquire proper clothing for the season....

You should choose the fuzziest. They're normally the warmest.

They'll bother you a lot less than getting a hundred colds, trust me.

Alright, maybe that's a bit much. I have met people that felt like winter was like a continuous cold for them, though. So you should remember to dress warm.

You'll get to wear them again when the weather turns warmer. Winter's not forever.

I don't know. Five, six months. We've only just gotten to fall.

[Spock nods in approval..]

Indeed.

[Spock goes silent for a moment... His planet was a desert... it was no longer there...]

I must admit to some nostalgia for heat....
spohkh: (Perhaps)

[Spock is silent again for a moment....]

I am intrigued by your eye and hair colour.... are you human?
spohkh: (I'm wrong?)

[Demon?.... fascinating.]

That is a title correct? What does that entail?

Spring, and Winter. In winter, many plants die, and some animals hibernate, sleeping for a long time. The air is so cold that instead of rain, the water freezes and makes ice or snow.

In Spring, it's the opposite. The air begins to warm again, and plants start to grow and bloom, especially flowers.
